Neurolabs is delighted to win the 'start-up' category award as part of the UiPath Automation Awards CEE & Turkey 2020. Neurolabs, with offices in Romania and Scotland, is an early-stage Computer Vision start-up, pioneering the use of synthetically generated data to develop object recognition models in a drastically cheaper and faster way than traditional approaches.
UiPath Automation Awards recognises and celebrates the best software automation start-up and scale-up companies in CEE and Turkey. The competition was pioneered last year by UiPath's Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Vargha Moayed. This year, the competition took place on December 17, 2020 and saw over 250 companies from the CEE & Turkey region competing for the 'start-up' and 'scale-up' awards.
The most compelling reasons for the jurors to designate Neurolabs was the wide applicability of the solution, across industries, but also in robotic process automation (RPA), with a technology already proven in many use cases.

The UiPath Automation Awards CEE & Turkey supports the development of innovative business ideas and fosters the capacity to scale of brilliant teams and entrepreneurs.The initiative is meant to offer support to the ‘start-up’ and ‘scale-up’ ecosystem in the region. Neurolabs received a €50.000 cash prize that was offered by Microsoft, director-level mentorship, tech support for the next 12 months, and 30 hours of marketing support from UiPath.

The "scale-up" category award was won by the Polish company Salesbook, whose team created an innovative sales tool compatible with any customer relationship management (CRM) system that is already used by global customers.
